Exponential Skyscrapers

If you happen to live near any big urban metropolitan city there is a high chance you seen a skyscraper. You know this big towering buildings that look that can pierce the clouds.  Now what if I told you there is a way to knock one down with a simple domino. Your probably wondering what kind of crackpot madness I’m coming up with but bear with me. After doing a recent Desmos activity it has led me to believe that something so preposterous that it may actually work. If I were to have an domino that was to exponentially grow at a rate of 1.5 times, that is going to be one massive domino. Let’s look a the One World Trade Center a massive building and stunning to look at… let’s see how many dominos it would take to bring it down.  Its stands at a height of 1792 feet lets create our domino effect the common size for a domino is 50.8 mm and grows at a rate of 1.5 times. So to knock it down you will need approximately about 23 dominos to destroy the building.
